Academy eSailing Challenge!
Kids, youth and adults current Academy sailors.
Friday 27 August – 6:30pm
Friday 3 September – 6:30pm
Friday 10 September – 6:30pp

A great way to stay connected, learning and enjoying sailing together! The eSailing game is very easy to play and it teaches you many regatta skills like: Laylines, tactics, strategy, gusts, starts, VMG and speed, mark rounding tactics, racing rules, etc!

Also to make it super interesting: We will run a short 30 minutes theory lesson before each race day. This way we can have the sailors learning many useful racing skills each week focusing during a short period of time and also to stay connected with those sailors that don't want to do the eSailing 😊

So get your sailing book ready to take notes! Each week will be a different topic but most of them are focused on what the sailors can do and prepare now during lockdown to get ready for the regattas coming very soon.

Then...eSailing!
It will be a Series of 3 Race days, 3 consecutive Fridays at 6:30pm. We will take the results on each race and do the overall results on the last day. There will be some prizes from our main Academy Sponsors. Also, please remember to keep supporting our great Academy sponsors Harken Doyle Sails Kiwi Yachting

You must register for the eSailing Series before this Thursday 4pm.
Maximum of 20 sailors. So hurry up! First come, first serve.
You need to register if you are racing at the eSeries but you don't need to register for the short theory session.
